Terms of Use
Last updated June 9, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Shidduch Card (“Shidduch Card,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Jewgo LLC, and govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and to enable available security features such as multi-factor authentication. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. The Service
Shidduch Card is a private tool for creating a shidduch profile and sharing it through access links that you control, including options to limit visibility, set expirations, require a PIN, and revoke access. Some profiles may be shared as protected, watermarked video.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the information and photos you submit (“Your Content”). You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for sharing links only with people you trust.
Information about other people. If Your Content includes information or photos about anyone other than yourself — including references, family members, or the person a profile describes — you represent that you have the necessary consent or other lawful basis to provide that information and to allow us to process it as described in the Privacy Policy.
License to operate the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, encrypt, process, reproduce, adapt (for example, to resize images or generate watermarked video), and display Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service to you and to the people you authorize. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for residual copies retained in encrypted backups for a limited period and as required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload information or photos about other people without an appropriate consent or legal basis;
- use the Service to harass, impersonate, defraud, or mislead, or to post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- attempt to circumvent or defeat security features, access controls, DRM, watermarking, or rate limits;
- access data or accounts that are not yours, or scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or
- use the Service in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Sharing and the limits of access control
Revoking or expiring a link stops new visits and new photo loads. It cannot delete information a viewer has already opened, downloaded, screenshotted, or forwarded.
Expiring and revocable links help you control future access, but cannot prevent a recipient from copying, screenshotting, or forwarding information while they have access. Share only what you are comfortable being seen.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Shidduch Card and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
8. Third-party services and app stores
The Service relies on third-party providers (such as our authentication and video-delivery providers), and their services are subject to their own terms. If you obtain our mobile app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms; those terms apply alongside these Terms, and the relevant store provider is not responsible for the Service or for providing support.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.
10. Service availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose limits on certain features. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service or for loss of data or access arising from changes to or discontinuation of the Service.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that information will not be accessed by unintended recipients once a link is shared.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHIDDUCH CARD AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shidduch Card and its operators from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right — including any claim relating to information you provided about another person.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Subject to any applicable arbitration provision below, you and Shidduch Card agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Florida for any dispute not subject to arbitration.
[ORG INPUT NEEDED: decide with counsel whether to include a binding arbitration clause and a class-action waiver. If yes, insert the arbitration provision here; if no, the court-venue clause above governs.]
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
